OVIR registration is a "single entry" extension (prolongation) of the existing Ukrainian visa. Such extensions are produced for a max. period of 3-6 months depending on issued visa type. Ukraine entry regulations

Citizens of EU countries, USA, Canada, Japan, Monaco, San Marino, Andorra, Iceland and Liechtenstein, the countries of the CIS (Russia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Moldova) can visit Ukraine for up to 90 days in a period of 180 days without any visa, simply having their passports stamped at the border. You only need to register your passport in OVIR, if you are planning to stay in Ukraine for a greater period than the validity of your visa and the registration process must be started well in advance before your visa expires. Upon successful passport registration, your visa will be prolonged. Extensions of up to 6 motnhs period are available.

Foreigner’s completed application form.
Foreigner’s passport original. Original of immigration card (if available).
Notarized copy of lease agreement for foreigner’s certified at Housing Association (ZHEK);
Copy of medical insurance.

If personal visit:
